Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli (Nepali:खड्ग प्रसाद शर्मा ओली);on Friday has reshuffled his cabinet. He has appointed Former Finance Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) leader Barshaman Pun as a Minister for Energy.
His party started a revolutionary People’s War in Nepal in 1996 that ultimately led to the change of the political system in Nepal. The decade long civil war transformed Nepal from a monarchy into a republic. He was elected to the Nepalese Constituent Assembly from Lalitpur Districtin 2008 and became Minister for Peace and Reconstruction in the cabinet formed on 13 February . On 10 December Barsha Man Pun secured a parliamentary seat from Rolpa with a wide margin of vote. He is a permanent resident of Madichaur, Rolpa.
