KATHMANDU, Oct 18:
According to Information Officer with the Department of Electricity Development, Gokarnaraj Pantha, the project received a production license on Thursday. The project is going to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 860 million.
The Department has already directed the project promoter to make power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) by managing funds within this fiscal year.
The project will have to complete the construction of the project within the next four years, according to Information Officer Pantha.
