Siddhakali Power Ltd. has identified Trishuli-Galchhi Hydro- Electric Project in 2007 on Trishuli River which has the highest power generation potential, and has obtained the Survey License of Electricity Generation from Ministry of Energy (MOE) through Department of Electricity Development (DoED). The proposed project site is located at a distance of 56 kms from Katmandu near Galchhi in Bagmati Zone of the Central Development Region. The proposed powerhouse site is four kilometer downstream from Galchhi Bazar on right bank of the river connected by Prithvi Highway while the intake site is seven Kilometer north from Galchhi along the Trisuli-Dhunche-Somdang highway.
The Project is constructed through the investment of Api Power Company Limited. Company , the Company has Power Purchase Agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority on 2nd June 2016.
