Nepal Hydropower Association (NHA) in association with the International Hydropower Association (IHA) are organizing a two day workshop titled Hydropower Sustainability in Nepal from 27 to 28 May.
Objectives:
- Bring together high-level hydropower actors in Nepal to discuss key issues affecting the sector in the country and region, including broad sustainability considerations.
- Build understanding of sustainability criteria and their role in driving investment decisions, including the IFC Performance Standards and the Hydropower Sustainability Assessment Protocol.
- Give participants a detailed understanding of the Protocol background, structure and content, how it is applied, and the benefits it offers to users.
