Myagdi, Sept 27: The construction work of the Rahughat Hydropower Project has been started from Friday in Piple of Myagdi district.
Chief District Officer Tek Bahadur KC, Local Development Officer Bishnu Prasad Sharma, project director Bikashman Singh Dangol and deputy director Mani Kumar Kafle laid foundation of the project. The Nepal Electricity Authority is the developer of the project with 32 megawatt capacity. Dangol said the project is expected to complete within three and a half years of the beginning.
