
Kathmandu — Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, has urged entrepreneurs and businessmen from Sri Lanka to invest in Nepal. During his visit to Sri Lanka, President Agrawal appealed to the private sector there to invest in the fields of hydropower, information technology, and tourism.
During the Nepal-Sri Lanka Trade and Business Conference organized by the Nepalese Embassy in Colombo, Sri Lanka, President Agrawal emphasized that Nepal is an excellent destination for investment, offering high potential and secure returns.
During the meeting with officials of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, President Agrawal stated that an environment ensuring returns on investment in Nepal has already been established. He mentioned that the current economic policy framework has increased enthusiasm among foreign investors.
