8.5 MW Naugadh hydro power project completed; districts of FWD region benefitted

    Besides the devastating earthquake of Baishak 12, the Api Power Company has successfully completed it 8.5 MW Naugadh river hydro power project situated at Dethala VDC of Far Western Development Region. The total project cost is around NPR 1400 million in debt to equity ratio of 70:30.

    The electricity generatedNaugadh Hydro from this project was to be connected to 131 KM long Ataria Balance transmission line of 132 KV but the transmission line has not been able to start its operation yet. For the time being, the generated electricity will be transmitted through NTA 33 KV transmission line.

    Districts like Darchula, Baitadi, Dadeldhura, Doti, Bajhang, Bajura of far western development regions will be benefitted from this project.
