PM : Inaugurat Six MW Daraudi A Hydropower Project

    Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said the government was planning to make the whole nation load shedding-free.

    Inaugurating the six-megawatt Daraudi A Micro Hydropower Project in Gorkha district today, the Prime Minister said, “The government has been working to make people feel the changes directly. The load shedding has ended in Kathmandu and we are doing homework on how it could be expanded across the nation.”
    “I am confident that the government will be successful.”
    “We could end the load shedding in Kathmandu after managing right person for the right job and being committed to the target,” he said, “The result will be encouraging if there is willpower from the leadership, if the management is good and if we can work on the war footing.”

    Speaking at the function, Minister for Energy Janardan Sharma said load shedding in Kathmandu ended by managing leakage and using technologies.

    He also attributed the the improvement to a directive from Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
    Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development Hitraj Pandey and Minister for Land Reform and Management Bikram Pandey had also spoken at the function.
