Kathmandu — The Nepal Automobile Association of Nepal (NADA) is set to organize the NADA Auto Show 2024 from August 27 to September 1 to promote the automobile industry. During a press conference held in Kathmandu on Wednesday, NADA announced that the upcoming auto show will be held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu and is expected to be more grand and impactful than previous editions.

NADA Auto Show 2024 committee coordinator Anup Baral stated that the auto show will provide a platform for a comprehensive display of the latest trends and technologies in the automobile sector. “This year’s exhibition will feature 24 four-wheeler brands, 19 two-wheeler brands, and 12 brands of light commercial vehicles,” Baral said. “The exhibition will also include 33 companies specializing in lubricants, tires, batteries, garage equipment, and other auto components, along with 7 financial institutions offering customized financial solutions. A total of 95 exhibitors will participate in the exhibition, showcasing their products and services across 130 stalls.

NADA has stated that the auto show will offer automobile enthusiasts an opportunity to explore new models, technologies, and trends, with visitors being able to find new brands and innovative technologies under one roof. Coordinator Baral mentioned that attendees can also take advantage of financial options and business opportunities. He added that the necessary information for making vehicle purchase decisions will be provided. “The exhibition is expected to boost the morale of the automobile business community, which plays a significant role in the national economy,” Baral said. NADA noted that despite the challenging environment, there has been enthusiastic participation from companies in the exhibition.

The Tata EV-presented NADA Auto Show 2024 is expected to attract around 75,000 visitors over the course of six days. Baral mentioned that one lucky participant in the exhibition will also have the chance to win a Hero Zoom scooter. Tickets for the auto show can be purchased in advance through the Khalti app, and buyers will receive a 20% cashback on purchases made by August 26, according to NADA.
