Kathmandu — An international electrical exhibition titled “Fin Electro-Tech 2026,” aimed at bringing together Nepal’s energy, electrical infrastructure, and smart technology sectors under one platform, is set to begin on June 5, 2026, at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in the capital.
Organized by the Federation of Electrical Entrepreneurs of Nepal, the four-day exhibition will continue until June 8, 2026. According to the organizers, the expo is being held at a time when Nepal is rapidly expanding hydropower generation, transmission and distribution infrastructure, industrialization, and the use of digital technologies. The event aims to promote awareness about modern, safe, and energy-efficient electrical technologies.
Federation President and Chief Coordinator of the Main Organizing Committee, Dilip Kumar Agrawal, said that the use of safe, high-quality electrical products meeting international standards has become not just a necessity but an inevitability. He added that the exhibition is intended to directly familiarize consumers, businesses, and technical professionals with emerging technologies.
The exhibition will feature participation from manufacturers, importers, distributors, and technology providers from Nepal and abroad. According to the organizers, all exhibition stalls have already been booked in advance. The expo will showcase transmission and distribution equipment, smart energy solutions, industrial and household electrical products, wires and cables, LED lighting, smart switches, security systems, solar energy, automation, information technology, and advanced electronics.
Organizers expect the exhibition to provide consumers with an opportunity to compare products from various national and international brands in one place, gain technical knowledge, and raise awareness about the use of safe electrical products. They also believe the event will serve as an effective platform for participating companies to expand markets, promote brands, and build professional networks.
The exhibition is being supported by organizations including the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce. Media Space is managing the event.
Transweld Transformer is the main sponsor of the exhibition. Havells is the Powered By Partner, Janata K.I. the Platinum Sponsor, Laser India and Greatwhite Electricals the Diamond Sponsors, and Brilliant LED the Gold Sponsor.
Similarly, Nabil Bank is the official banking partner, Siddhartha Premier Insurance the official insurance partner, SKB Group the official carrier partner, July Tech Labs the technology partner, and Sajilo Net the internet partner.
The organizers expect thousands of visitors — including industrialists, businesspeople, engineers, architects, students, media personnel, and the general public from Nepal and abroad — to attend the exhibition.
