Hydropower Dominates Weekly Stock Trading with 50% Share

KATHMANDU, June 7: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) announced a power outage in Singha Durbar and Baneshwor areas on Saturday. Electricity supply will be cut off for 5 hours in Singha Durbar and up to four hours in Baneshwor.

The power cut in Singha Durbar is due to the installation of an electricity meter at the new building of the Ministry of Home Affairs and regular maintenance of power lines. As a result, electricity supply to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, all ministries, offices, and the Supreme Court will be halted from 7 am to 12 pm.

Similarly, in the Baneshwor Distribution Center area, electricity will be cut from 11 pm to 3 pm in Minbhawan and Aloknagar for the management of 11 kV lines on an overhead bridge near the Aloknagar gate.

In addition, Gairigaun, Tinkune, Subidhanagar, Baneshwor, and Sinamangal areas will face a power cut from 11 am to 11:45 am on Saturday.
