DAMAULI: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has closed and started maintenance of the Unit 3 of Marshyangdi Power House.
The unit is closed for a month for the repair of the turbine and parts, said Chief of the power house, Chandra Shekhar Chaudhary.
The repair work would be concluded by April 10 starting from March 11, he added. The Unit 1 and 2 has only produced 32 MW of electricity as the unit three was closed.
With the closure of the Unit 3, a total of 37 MW less power would be generated.
