The importance of power tunnels, road tunnels, railway tunnel , metro tunnels in a mountainous countries like Nepal is self-explanatory . Therefore, the Nepal Tunnelling Association deserves special thanks and appreciation for organizing Training workshops on tunneling.
In this context, the two day training will help our prospective participants ( civil engineers, geologists, geotechnical engineers, planners and tunnel engineering technicians ) to learn about : –
- Tunnel Design Principles and methods,
- Construction Methods and Technologies,
- Construction Methods and Technologies,
- Construction methods based on Ground conditions,
- Ground water drainage and water tightness for underground structures,
- Risk Management and contracts to tackle uncertainties
The training will be conducted by : Mr. Harald Wagner ( Austrian International Consultant for underground structures with r more than 40 years of professional experience in tunneling,
Prof. Jain Zhao ( International Consultant in Engineering Rock Mechanics), Mr. Felix Amberg ( International Consultant in project management of underground structures and tunnels)
Mr. Piorgiorgio Grasso (Italian consultant in the design and management of underground structures).
