Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) seeks bids to supply a trashrack cleaning machine as part of rehabilitation of the 144-MW Kali Gandaki A hydroelectric project on the Kali Gandaki River in western Nepal. Bids are due January 23, 2015.
NEA previously called for bids in April for a trashrack cleaning machine, as well as turbine parts and a powerhouse auxiliary system for Kali Gandaki A, also called Kaligandaki A. It also took bids in December for powerhouse auxiliary system parts. It recruited consultants in 2013 to design and supervise the project’s rehabilitation.
NEA now seeks bids for Contract KGAHPPRP/G/ICB-4-R, supply, delivery and installation of a trash rack cleaning machine.
Bid documents may be obtained from the address below for 20,000 rupees or US$210. Payment is to be deposited in the NEA, Generation Account No. 1206101-001-012-524 at Nepal Rastra Bank, Thapathali, Kathmandu, or in the form of a bank draft drawn in favor of “Kaligandaki A Hydropower Plant Rehabilitation Project (KGAHPPRP).” Foreign bidders requesting delivery of documents by courier should submit an additional fee of US$300 in the form of an additional bank draft.
