Terhathum: Terhathum’s old and historic trade centre of Sankranti Bazaar has now been connected with an extended electric power line.
The residents are a delighted lot after electric power was extended in the marketplace on Saturday.
The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has extended the additional electric power to 79 households and six offices, engineer Deepak Dahal said. The NEA is distributing the power from a 33 kV transformer at Jirikhimti distribution centre via the 11 kV transformer located at Jamdar Danda.
