Kathmandu: The government has decided to send an official proposal to the Government of China for the implementation of the Chilime–Kerung transmission line project connecting Nepal and China.
Government spokesperson and Minister Sasmita Pokharel shared this information while making public the decisions of the Cabinet meeting held on Monday.
According to the government, the project is being advanced with the objective of expanding Nepal–China energy cooperation. Once completed, it is expected to significantly support electricity exchange between the two countries and the expansion of energy infrastructure.
