KATHMANDU, OCT 10 –
The Nepal Electricity Authority ( NEA ) has decided to reduce load-shedding hours for Dashain festival.
According to the new schedule, there will be three and half hours power cuts daily from October 11 to 16.
The announcement has come as a relief to the public.
The decision was taken in view of the 10-day Dashain festival, the biggest Hindu festival in the country, when most public offices and industries remain closed.
Meanwhile, there will be no changes in load shedding hours in industrial areas.
