Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Mukesh Raj Kafle has resigned from his post. Kafle tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal this morning.
“He (Kafle) submitted his resignation as soon as he met the PM this morning,” PM Dahal’s press advisor Govinda Ancharya, told Republica Online, “When the PM asked him the reason, Kafle said he had resigned voluntarily. But his resignation is yet to be approved.”
The government led by Late Sushil Koirala had appointed Kafle as the executive head of NEA.
