From Shrawan to Ashwin (mid-July to mid-October), NEA’s total revenue, including interest and other income, amounted to NPR 41.8 billion, while its total expenses stood at NPR 32.69 billion.

Operational and Maintenance Costs

During this period, NEA spent NPR 32.69 billion on operational and maintenance costs. The electricity sales revenue from various distribution centers totaled NPR 28.95 billion, with NPR 26.77 billion realized.

Power Purchases and Expenses

Investments in Projects and Electrification

A total of NPR 16.93 billion was spent through government and foreign investments for various projects and electrification initiatives. Of this, NEA itself contributed NPR 10.88 billion, while NPR 6.05 billion was spent on foreign payments.
