Load shedding falls to 35 hrs per week

KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has decided to decrease load shedding from present 42 hours to 35 hours per week, effective from Wednesday.
The new schedule cited rise on water level in major reservoirs, including Kulekhani hydropower, as the reason behind reducing power outage.
Now, there will five hours of power cut daily.
It seems monsoon is going to provide a respite from power outage. Earlier, load shedding was soared up to 14 hours a day in January.
