A consortium of two commercial banks, led by Bank of Kathmandu Limited and participating Kumari Bank Limited., has signed Loan Facility Agreement for Rs. 550 million with Chhyandi Hydropower Ltd., Nepal for the construction of 4 MW Upper Chhyandi Hydroelectric Project, on 25th June, 2018 .
Upper Chhyandi Hydropower Project is a run-of-the-river type scheme project located Lamjung district in the Western Region of Nepal.
The average annual energy generation of the project is 22.58 GWh. The energy generated from the project is evacuated through 33 kV Udipur S/S of NEA .
