KATHMANDU:
Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) Krishna Hari Banskota has directed the concerned stakeholders to speed up actions towards construction of a power house and transmission line distribution of the Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project. The hydro project will produce 456 mega-watt power.
Visiting the project site today, Banskota urged project officials to remain readily available to resolve any kinds of disruptions in the ongoing works related to the hydro project. According to him, efforts of all concerned stakeholders should be to complete the project by mid-July, 2016.
Speaking at an interaction in Dolakha today, Banskota said there would not be any budgetary or manpower protraction to the project from government’s side. Pledging to lend full support to the project on government’s behalf, Secretary Banskota also urged locals for the same, adding that no unwanted disruptions to the project shall be tolerated.
