The Trishuli Hydel Project of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased the capacity of power transformer after 50 years of its establishment.
The five MBA capacity power transformer, which was in use since the establishment, was replaced by 10 MBA capacity for resolving problems of the customers.
“There were problems during evening for power regularity. Therefore, the capacity has been doubled, as it will solve the problems during high power supply,” said Engineer Tej Krishna Shrestha.
“The replacement started at 5:15 a.m. Saturday and was completed at 12 a.m. Sunday.”
Power supply remained disrupted during the replacement.
