KATHMANDU, Feb 11: A writ petition has been filed at the Supreme Court seeking annulment of the project development agreement (PDA) of the Upper Karnali Hydropower Project.
Ratan Bhandari of Rayal VDC in Bajhang filed the writ petition on Tuesday demanding annulment of the PDA between the Government of Nepal and GMR-Upper Karnali Hyderopower Limited.
The petitioner has argued that the PDA was signed ignoring the constitutional provision of rectifying treaties on natural resources through parliament.
