New Delhi, Dec 11 :
In order to encourage more power exports to India, Nepal must have a national electricity evacuation policy, says a report.
“Evacuation of electricity from Nepal to India has many problems. Nepal must have a national policy for power evacuation,” a report by CII on Power Import from Nepal said.
India follows pooling system for transmission of power, Nepal follows line by line arrangement. This creates a tariff discrepancy.
