    Kaligandaki ghasaAmbeshwar Engineering Hydropower Pvt. Ltd (AEHPL), a company registered under the Government of Nepal Act 2063 is set upping 180 MW Kaligandaki Koban Hydroelectric Project in Mustang District, Nepal. The project would affect Koban, Kunjo and Lete VDCs of the district. The project at a distance of 125 km from Pokhara would be built on the Kali Gandaki River. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 40 billion. The project would be constructed under financial assistance from international donor agencies. Major share holder of the company is Essar Power, India. Essar Power, amongst India’s largest power generation companies in the private sector, has a total installed generation capacity of 3,910 MW
