Electric Vehicle Manufacturers and Importers Association of Nepal (EVMIAN), Media Space Solutions and Futurex Trade Fair and Events are jointly organising Nepal EV Expo at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu from September 1 to 3. The expo is being organised with the aim of encouraging the use of electric vehicles in the country, as per a media release.

According to the organisers, more than 100 reputed companies and over 150 brands of vehicles and electronics will be showcased during the three day expo. Along with primarily promoting electric cars, electric scooters, motorcycles, bicycles, electric buses, rickshaws and electric charging stations, batteries and other electrical materials, auto components, tyres, batteries, garage equipments, charging stations, the event have significant participation of banks and insurance companies.
