NEA reduces loadshedding hours

    KATHMANDU: The routine power cut will be slashed by two hours a day from tomorrow, thanks to the rise in water level in rivers with the onset of pre-monsoon.

    Nepal Electricity Authority today published has a new schedule for the loadshedding.

    After the new schedule is implemented, the existing power cut for 70 hours a week will be reduced to 56 hours. In 

    The load-shedding, however, may be reduced or increased by an hour a day depending upon situation, the NEA said.
