Jogmai Hydroelectric Project developed by Sanvi Energy Pvt. Ltd breakthrough of 1500 meter tunnel on 28th July,2016 .
The Tunnel is 1500 meter long with 2.8 meter dia and completed by 573 working days averaging 2.61 meter per day for labour intensive mucking of manual Drill & Blast tunnel, with almost 36% (540 meter) requiring Rock Support Type -5 (RST-V). RST-V meant only one blast a day, meaning 270 days without second blast considering only 2 face to work with.
Project capacity is 7.6 MW and located in Phikkal of Ilam District of Eastern Nepal.
