The Independent Power Producers Association Nepal (IPPAN) elected its new executive committee on June 15 with Ganesh Karki as the president.
As per the unanimous election done on June 16, Karki was indisputably elected as the President of IPPAN, Mohan Dangi as Senior Vice President, Aashish Garg, Bharat B Khatry, Ram Acharya, Ananda Chaudhary and Uttam Blon were elected as the Vice President.
Likewise, Balaram Khatiwada was elected as the General Secretary and Prakesh Dulal as Deputy General Secretary. Bharat Kumar Khadka, Kabita Pokharel Kandel, Him Pathak, Bharat Nepal and Bikram Bist as Secretaries and Narandra Ballav Panta as the treasurer.
Among the three women members, Isha Shrestha, Susan Karmacharya and Suman Kumari Shrestha are unopposed. Similarly, member Uttar Kumar Shrestha, Kubera Mani Nepal, Teknath Acharya, Bharat Prasad Parajuli, Mithun Chakraborty Prasad Paudel, Vijay Mohan Bhattarai and Shankar Basyal have won though election.
