दुई हप्तापछि आँखुखोलाबाट विद्युत् उत्पादन

    Aankhu Khola HEPधादिङ, ३० वैशाख- धादिङ जिल्लाको उत्तरी क्षेत्रमा बग्ने आँखुखोला जलविद्युत् आयोजनाको निर्माणकार्य सम्पन्न भएको छ । धादिङका ६६ जनासहित २ सय १ जनाको लगानीमा बनेको सो आयोजनाबाट दुई हप्तापछि विद्युत् उत्पादन सुरु हुने आँखुखोला जलविद्युत् कम्पनी लिमिटेडका कार्यकारी निर्देशक विश्वनाथ कँडेल बताए ।
    ८.४ मेगावाट क्षमताको सो आयोजना निर्माण ०६६ मंसिर बाट सुरु भएको थियो । १ अर्व ७५ करोड लागतमा निर्माण सम्पन्न  आँखुखोला आयोजना निजी क्षेत्रबाट निर्माण भएको सबैभन्दा पहिलो ‘क्यासकेड आयोजना’ भएको कम्पनीको दाबी छ । यो आयोजनामा सुक्खायाममा समेत विद्युत् उत्पादन कम हुन नदिनका लागि दैनिक ६ घण्टा विद्युत् उत्पादन गर्न पुग्ने पानी रोक्न सक्ने बताइएको छ । यसका लागि २.५ किलोमिटर लम्बाइ र १ किलोमिटर चौडाइको ताल निर्माण गरिएको छ । १४ किलोमिटर प्रसारणलाइन निर्माण धादिङबेसीमा १ करोड ५५ लाख रुपैयाँमा सबस्टसन निर्माणकार्य सम्पन्न भइसकेकोे र जेठ १५ गतेभित्र नियमित उत्पादन हुने कार्यकारी निर्देशक कँडेलले बताए ।

    Aankhu Khola-1 Hydropower Project

    Aankhu Khola-1 Hydropower Project is located on the Ankhu Khola in Salyankot VDC, Marpak VDC, Tripureswor VDC and Gumdi VDC in Dhading District. The project is run off river Hydroelectric project approximately 132 Km West from Kathmandu with generation capacity of 8.40 MW. The project site is accessable 42 km long road from Dhading Bensi through Khahare Bazaar. Though, the power purchase agreement (PPA) with Nepal Electric Authority (NEA) was originally carried out for the plant size of 7 MW, the Civil, Electromechanical, Hydro mechanical, Transmission and substation of the project have been designed and constructed for 8.40 MW plant size. The PPA has been amended to accommodate changes in design, cost and contract power and energy according to the upgraded plant size 8.4 MW.

    The diversion weir is located very near to suspension bridge of Ringne Bazaar. The power house is about the 800 meter dower stream from head works at Sisnery Khet. The power house has 3 units of Francis vertical axis turbines. Water will be conveyed from desander to powerhouse through 800 meters long pipe of 4 m diameter. Access road 7 km long from Khahare to project site was recently constructed by Ankhu Khola hydropower project. The major structure (Head works/intake, Approach canal, Desander, penstock pipe line alignment, power house and tailrace canal and River training bond lies right bank of Ankhu Khola.

    The design discharge of the project is 34.50 cumecs. The potential gross head of the project is 30.84 m. The net head after deducting head is 27.84 m.
