Sunkoshi Hydropower Station started generation from one unit after 30 days ( 31/08/2014) due to massive landslide at Jure on 2nd August 2014 which swept away two gates of 10 MW Sunkoshi Power House headworks.
Sunkoshi Hydropower Station has installed capacity of 10.05 MW was commissioned in 1972 AD.
