Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Opens CEO Recruitment Through Competitive Selection

Kathmandu: Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited has initiated the process to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) through open competition. The company’s CEO Appointment Recommendation Subcommittee has published a notice inviting applications from qualified, competent, and experienced Nepali citizens.

According to the notice, one CEO will be appointed on a contract basis for a maximum term of four years. Applicants must hold a master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or Business Administration, along with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and a minimum of 12 years of professional experience are also eligible to apply.

The company stated that preference will be given to candidates who have served at the officer level or above in hydropower project construction and have experience as a Chief Executive Officer, Executive Head, or senior management executive in a hydropower company.

Applicants must have completed 40 years of age but not exceeded 60 years by the application deadline. The selection process will be conducted in accordance with the approved Terms of Reference (ToR), while salary, benefits, and other employment conditions will be determined under the company’s prevailing rules.

Interested candidates may submit their applications, along with the required documents, within 15 days of the publication of the notice either at the company’s central office in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu, or via email. The application form and ToR are available for download from the company’s website.

Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company currently operates the 111 MW Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project.
