
Kathmandu: Happy Energy Limited has moved forward with a proposal to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of ordinary shares to the general public. The company will present a special proposal at its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) seeking approval to issue shares allocated to the general public through an IPO.
According to a decision of the company’s Board of Directors, the first AGM will be held on September 10, 2026. The company said the meeting will discuss and decide on the special proposal to issue the shares allocated for the general public through an IPO.
Similarly, the company has proposed seeking approval from the AGM to obtain the necessary loan facilities for the project it is promoting.
The AGM will also discuss and approve the annual report for the fiscal year 2025/26, approve the financial statements along with the auditor’s report, appoint an auditor for the upcoming fiscal year, and determine the auditor’s remuneration.
Happy Energy is currently developing a 40 MW power project.
