Kathmandu: Chilime Hydropower Company Limited has decided to distribute a 12 percent dividend to its shareholders. In a meeting of the company’s Board of Directors, it was decided to give 4 percent in cash and 8 percent as bonus shares from the paid-up capital as dividend.
The company has announced that the Annual General Meeting will be held on January 14. The share register will be closed on January 1, for the AGM. Investors who are registered as shareholders by December 31, will be eligible to participate in the meeting and receive the dividend.
Currently, the share price of Chilime Hydropower Company is Rs. 494 per share. Following the dividend announcement, there has been noticeable enthusiasm among investors.
