Testing & commissioning of Upper Mai C Hydopower Project (6.1 MW) developed by Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited has been successfuly completed and connected to National Grid of Nepal Electricity Authority on 2074/03/24. Now the total power generation of the Ilam district is 66 MW.
The company has also developed Upper Mai HEP (12 MW) and already connected to NEA Grid last year.
Commercial generation was started in last April from Jogmai Khola SHEP (9.6MW). Few Hydro Projects are in the construction phase which is going to upgrade the generation capacity of the district. 22 MW and 7 MW of Sanima, 6.2 MW of Puwa Khola, and 4.5 MW of Mai Khola and 3 MW Upper Puwa Khola have been running and Mai Khola which is under construction in Godak is in final phase of completion.
