May 20: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has slashed load shedding by one hour a day effective from Friday.
With the new power-cut schedule, the power will go off for 69:30 hours a week and around 10 hours a day. Earlier, load shedding hours were limited to 77 hours a week.
NEA has reduced the load shedding hours citing the rise in water levels in the rivers due to monsoon.
