Powerhouse of the project is located at Ramchowkbesi of Besisahar Municipality-11 in Lamjung district.

The construction work of the project started in 2016. Although the project was supposed to generate power in two and a half years it got delayed due to India’s economic blockade on Nepal, flood in the powerhouse in the Marsyangdi River last year, lockdown imposed during the coronavirus period and several other technical reasons.
