
Kathmandu – Construction work on the 99.8-megawatt Tamakoshi-5 Hydropower Project is progressing at a rapid pace. The progress observed at the project site in recent days indicates that Tamakoshi-5 is now clearly taking shape.
The gradual transformation of the project’s initial designs into physical structures is considered evidence that the project has passed an important milestone. Structural works at the site are advancing steadily, demonstrating significant progress in the implementation of the project.
The project development side has stated that the dedication and hard work of the technicians, engineers, and the entire team who are continuously engaged in bringing Tamakoshi-5 into reality are commendable. It has been said that despite difficult terrain and technical challenges, the project is moving toward its set goals due to the team’s sustained efforts.
This project, based on the Tamakoshi River system, is expected to make an additional contribution to the national electricity supply. As construction work continues to gain momentum, it is believed that the progress of the project will become even more evident in the coming days.
