
Kathmandu: Aankhu Khola Hydropower Company Limited has published its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter of the current fiscal year. According to the report, the company has shown improvement in both electricity sales revenue and net profit.
By the end of mid-April, the company earned Rs 17.24 crore from electricity sales, which is 31.94% higher compared to Rs 13.07 crore during the same period last fiscal year.
With increased revenue and reduced financial expenses, the company’s net profit rose by 13.82% to Rs 3.83 crore. During the review period, financial expenses decreased by 23.31%.
Along with profit growth, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) also increased. By the end of mid April, EPS rose by 31 paisa to Rs 2.56. The company’s net worth per share stands at Rs 92, while its price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio is 157.14 times.
The company, with a paid-up capital of Rs 2 billion, has negative retained earnings (other equity) of Rs 15.15 crore.
