NEA spokesman Sher Singh Bhat attributed decreased power supply from India’s central power supply to Bihar for additional power cuts in Nepal. “As per the information from Bihar’s Power Holding Company, we are hopeful of supply improvement. We don’t know when the supply will improve,” added Bhat. Meanwhile, Chhetri said the diesel plant in Hetauda resumed power generation from today.
Currently, the country is importing power from India through five different routes.
