Kathmandu: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has stated that electricity supply may experience occasional disruptions or fluctuations in some parts of the country due to extreme heat, strong winds, rainfall, other adverse weather conditions, and various technical reasons.
In a public notice issued on Saturday, the NEA urged consumers to report any power outages, electrical accidents, or electricity-related complaints by calling its 1150 hotline or contacting the head of the relevant provincial office through the designated contact numbers.
The authority said that upon receiving such information, the concerned office would be immediately mobilized to resolve the problem.
In the notice, the NEA apologized for the inconvenience caused to consumers by power supply interruptions resulting from technical, natural, or unforeseen circumstances and reaffirmed its commitment to restoring electricity service as quickly as possible.
Stating that providing reliable, high-quality, safe, and dependable electricity service is its primary responsibility, the NEA said it is continuously implementing necessary improvements to strengthen the power system and enhance service quality.
The authority also expressed its gratitude to consumers for their patience, cooperation, and trust during this period, adding that the contact details of its distribution centers and provincial offices are available on its official website.
