Load shedding increases to 13 hrs a day

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority on Sunday said it increased load shedding to 13 hours a day, or 91 hours a week, effective from Monday, February 1.

Earlier, the power outage since January 4 was for 84 hours a week, or 12 hours a day on an average.

According to the new schedule, the consumers would see darkness for 13 hours a day everyday in two shifts.

New load shedding schedule effective from February 1, 2016.
